SBI CBO Recruitment 2026 Eligibility Criteria
The eligibility criteria for any bank exam depend on Educational Qualification, Age Limit, Experience, Local Language etc. A detailed analysis of these factors is given below:
SBI CBO Educational Qualification
Graduation in any discipline from a recognised University in India or any equivalent qualification recognised as such by the Central Government.
SBI CBO Age Limit (as on 31/12/2025)
Not below 21 years and Not above 30 years. The candidates must have been born not later than 30.12.2004 and not earlier than 01.01.1996 (both days inclusive).

SBI CBO Experience
Bad news for all fresh graduates because SBI is demanding a minimum of 2 years’ experience as an officer in any Scheduled Commercial Bank / any Regional Rural Bank.
SBI CBO Local Language
Candidates applying for vacancies of a State have to produce 10th or 12th standard mark sheet/ certificate evidencing having studied the specific local language of the applied State as one of the subjects.
SBI CBO 2026 Application Fees
The online application fee for SBI CBO 2026 exam fee has already been released. A total of Rs. 750/- is to be paid by candidates belonging to General Category as the application fee for SBI Circle Based Officer 2026 exam. The same amount is narrowed down to Rs. 0/- for candidates belonging to SC/ST/PWD category.

SBI CBO 2026 Selection Process
The selection process of SBI CBO will be based on online computer based test, screening, Interview, and Local Language Proficiency Test. However, the Bank reserves the right to conduct a written examination.
The Shortlisting Committee constituted by the Bank will decide the shortlisting parameters and thereafter, an adequate number of candidates, as decided by the Bank will be shortlisted and called for interview. The decision of the bank to call the candidates for the interview shall be final. No correspondence will be entertained in this regard.
Merit List: The merit list for selection of SBI Circle Based Officer 2026 exam will be prepared in descending order on the basis of scores obtained in the interview only.
Merit list will be drawn State-wise, category-wise. In case more than one candidate scores the cut-off marks (common marks at the cut-off point), such candidates will be ranked according to their age in descending order, in merit.
