Punjab Jail Recruitment 2020: Eligibiltiy Criteria
Qualification: Candidate must have a degree in Arts, Science, Agriculture and Commerce from a recognized university. Along with this the candidate must have passed the matriculation examination with Punjabi as one of the compulsory subject or any other equivalent examination in Punjabi language which may be specified by the government from time to time (As per Punjab Civil Services General and Common Condition rules 1994).

Quantitative Ability: Number Series, Profit and Loss, Percentage, Ratio & Proportion, Problems on Interest, Divisibility Test, Simplification, Time and Distance, Time & Work problems, Problems on Area and Volume, Calender, Clocks, Trains, Problems on ages, Data Interpretation.
Information Technology & Cyber Laws: Basics of computers, Working of Mobile Phones and Digital Gadgets, Wireless Technology including 3G, 4G, 5G , Wi-Fi and bluetooth, Radio Frequencies & Signal Propagation, Use of Hotspots, Fundamentals of Computers and Networks, Internet & Cyber laws, Malware, Concepts related to GPS, Geo-fencing, Fingerprinting, CDR Analysis, Understanding emails/sms/messengers and tracings, Use of office productivity tools such as MS Word, Powerpoint, Spreadsheets, Database Management.
