Educational Qualification
- A Degree (Graduation) in any discipline from a University recognized by the Govt. of India or any equivalent qualification recognized as such by the Central Government.
- Candidates must possess a valid Mark-sheet / Degree Certificate and indicate the percentage of marks obtained in Graduation while registering online.
Work Experience

Candidates must have 18 months or more of work experience in an Officer cadre in any Public Sector Bank or Regional Rural Bank on a regular basis.

Experience in NBFCs, Cooperative banks, private banks, payment banks, small finance banks, or fintechs will not be considered.

An experience certificate must be submitted at the time of application as per Annexure – I.

Candidates who have been terminated or removed from service by a previous employer will not be considered eligible.
Age Limit (as on 01.08.2025)
To be eligible to apply for the post of Local Bank Officer (JMGS I), candidates must have a minimum age of 20 years and a maximum age of 30 years (born not earlier than 02.08.1995 and not later than 01.08.2005, both dates inclusive).
