Assistant Lineman (ALM)
  • Must have passed the National Apprenticeship Certificate (NAC) in the relevant trade.
  • Candidates with higher education such as a Diploma/Degree in Electrical Engineering will only be considered if they have also completed the NAC in the trade as the minimum qualification.
Assistant Sub-Station Attendant (ASSA)
  • ITI in Electrical/Electrician/Wireman trade with at least 60% marks (Full-time regular course)
  • 1-year apprenticeship experience at organizations such as BHEL / PMTCL
  • Diploma in Electrical Engineering with at least 60% marks (Full-time regular course)
  • Diploma in Electronics and Communication with at least 60% marks (Full-time regular course)
  • Diploma in Instrumentation and Process Control with at least 60% marks (Full-time regular course)
  • For matriculate candidates, a regular ITI in Electrical discipline with at least 60% marks
  • Diploma in Electrical Engineering with at least 50% marks
Electrician Grade-II
  • ITI/Diploma in Electrical trade or equivalent
Assistant Engineer (OT) / Electrical
  • Full-time regular BE/B.Tech/B.Sc. in Electrical/Electrical & Electronics Engineering with minimum 55% marks, or equivalent degree recognized by AICTE / AMIE in Electrical/Electrical & Electronics Engineering with 55% marks from Institution of Engineers (India), Calcutta.
Assistant Manager / IT
  • Full-time regular BE/B.Tech/B.Sc. in Computer Science/IT with minimum 60% marks, or equivalent degree recognized by AICTE. OR Full-time regular MCA or Master’s in IT from recognized/approved institution with at least 60% marks.
Accounts Officer
  • CA/CWA/CMA OR Full-time regular B.Com (min. 60%) OR M.Com (min. 50%) OR CA/CWA/CMA Inter.
Divisional Accountant

  • Matric + ITI (2-year course in Radio/Telecom/Mechanic/Wireless Mechanic from State/Central Govt. recognized institutions) OR Matric + Telecom Training Center & Telegraph Department course in Telegraph Mechanic OR Full-time regular 3–4 year Diploma in Electronics & Communication Engg. (min. 50%).
Lower Division Clerk (Typist)
  • Full-time regular Bachelor’s degree (min. 50%) from recognized institution.
  • Certificate of 120 hours course with hands-on experience in PC/IT office productivity or desktop publishing, or equivalent ‘O’ level DOEACC certificate.
  • Punjabi passed up to Matric standard.
Lower Division Clerk (Accounts)
  • Same as LDC/Typist, but degree must be B.Com (min. 50%). Same IT and Punjabi requirements.
