PSSSB Senior Assistant Recruitment 2026 Eligibility Criteria
Candidates must fulfil the PSSSB Senior Assistant eligibility conditions as prescribed in the official notification before applying. Ineligible candidates may face rejection at any stage of the recruitment process.
Educational Qualification
Candidates must hold a Bachelor’s Degree from a university or institution recognised by the Central or State Government. Additionally, candidates must fulfil the following requirements:
Knowledge of English and Punjabi Typing
Completion of a 120-hour computer course with hands-on experience in office productivity or desktop publishing applications, OR an “O” Level Certificate issued by DOEACC, Government of India. The Punjabi language at the Matriculation level is mandatory
Age Limit (as on 01/01/2026)
The minimum age to apply is 18 years, and the maximum age is 37 years for the General/Unreserved category. Age relaxation is available as per the Punjab Government rules:

PSSSB Senior Assistant Selection Process 2026
The selection of candidates for the PSSSB Senior Assistant post will be done through the following stages:
Stage 1 – Written Examination: An objective-type multiple choice question (MCQ) based written test will be conducted covering topics from the prescribed syllabus.
Stage 2 – Typing Test: Candidates who qualify the written examination will be called for a typing proficiency test in English and/or Punjabi on a computer.
Stage 3 – Document Verification: Candidates who clear the typing test will be required to appear for document verification with original certificates.
