Punjab Jail Warder Vacancy 2026
The Punjab Subordinate Services Selection Board (PSSSB) is conducting the Punjab Police Jail Warder Recruitment 2026 to fill a total of 532 vacancies in the Jail Department. This recruitment drive includes 475 positions for Jail Warders, 57 for Matrons.

Punjab Jail Warder Recruitment 2026 Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible to apply for Jail Warder and Matron posts, candidates must meet the educational qualification and age limit requirements for various Jail Warder posts. Eligibility criteria on the basis of age limit and educational qualification for this recruitment are discussed below.

Candidates must have passed 10+2 or equivalent examination from a recognized Education Board/ University, along with Punjabi as a compulsory or elective subject at Matriculation level, or any other equivalent examination in the Punjabi language
