PSSSB Clerk Recruitment 2025 Eligibility Criteria
The candidates who wish to become a Clerk in the Punjab Government must fulfill the minimum eligibility requirements. The PSSSB eligibility requirements are based on parameters like age limit & educational qualification.
Educational Qualifications
Those who wish to apply for the PSSSB Clerk posts must have the following qualifications.
Clerk Posts
  • Bachelor’s degree from a recognized university or institution.
  • Computer/IT Qualification: Must have a 120-hour course with hands-on experience in using computers for office productivity or desktop publishing from a government-recognised or
  • Computer/IT course equivalent to ‘O’ Level certificate (DOEACC), Government of India.
Typing Test:
  • Must qualify a Punjabi typing test (Unicode compliant font Raavi) and English typing test at 30 words per minute before appointment.
  • Must have passed 10th standard Punjabi as per Punjab Civil Services Rules
Clerk IT Posts
  • Full-time BCA, B.Sc IT, or B.Sc Computer Science degree from a recognized university or institution.
Typing Test:
  • Must qualify Punjabi and English typing tests at 30 words per minute
  • Must have passed 10th standard Punjabi as per Punjab Civil Services Rules
Age Limit (as on 01/01/2025)
Any candidate more than 37 years of age is ineligible to apply for the PSSSB Clerk Recruitment 2025, check below the age limt.
