PSPCL Assistant Lineman Eligibility Criteria 2026
The candidates must be aware of the eligibility criteria for the PSPCL Assistant Lineman posts before proceeding to the online application and registration process.
PSPCL Assistant Lineman Educational Qualification
Applicants can apply online for PSPCL Assistant Lineman Recruitment 2026 if they meet the following educational requirements.
  • Candidates must have completed Punjabi as a subject in high school or the tenth grade.
  • A National Apprenticeship Certificate (NAC) in Lineman Trade is required of candidates.
  • Candidates with higher education, such as a degree or diploma in electrical engineering, will only be taken into consideration if they also meet the requirements, such as a National Apprenticeship Certificate in Lineman Trade.
PSPCL ALM Age Limit
The minimum age requirement for PSPCL Recruitment 2026 applicants is 18 years old, and the maximum age requirement is 37 years old.

PSPCL ALM Selection Process 2026
Stage 1 – Online CBT: Part I (Punjabi Qualifying) + Part II (Main Exam)
Stage 2 – Document Verification: Originals of age, qualification, and category certificates checked
Stage 3 – Offer of Appointment: Issued by the appointing authority to candidates on the selection panel
Stage 4 – Joining: 21 days given to join after the appointment letter; one extension of 21 days may be granted
Stage 5 – Training: 6-month classroom and on-the-job training may be assigned
PSPCL ALM 2026 Exam Pattern
Part I-  Punjabi Language Test is a compulsory test that consists of 50 multiple-choice questions. To pass, a candidate is required to score a minimum of 50% (25 marks).
Part 2- In this section, examination will be conducted in English and Punjabi, except for the Punjabi language questions, which will be in Punjabi only.
  • The candidate will have the option to select the preferred language of the examination.
  • Part 2 will comprise 150 Multiple-choice questions with 1 mark for each correct answer.
  • There will be no negative marking.
  • The Paper will be for 3 hours.
