OICL AO Eligibility Criteria 2025
The Oriental Insurance Company Limited (OICL) sets specific eligibility criteria for candidates applying for Administrative Officer (AO) posts. Meeting these requirements is essential for candidates to be eligible to appear for the selection process. Graduate / Post Graduate in any stream from a recognized University with at least 60% marks in either of the degree examination (at least 55% for SC/ST) candidates.
Administrative Officer (Hindi Officer)
Master’s Degree from a recognized University in Hindi with English as a compulsory or elective subject or as the medium of examination at the degree level with 60% marks (for SC/ST 55% marks)
OR
Master’s Degree from a recognized University in English with Hindi as a compulsory or elective subject or as the medium of examination at the degree level with 60% marks (for SC/ST 55% marks)
OR
Master’s Degree from a recognized University in any subject other than Hindi or English, with Hindi medium and English as a compulsory or elective subject or as the medium of examination at the degree level with 60% marks (for SC/ST 55% marks)
OR
Master’s Degree from a recognized University in any subject other than Hindi or English, with English medium and Hindi as a compulsory or elective subject or as the medium of examination at the degree level with 60% marks (for SC/ST 55% marks)
OR

Age Limit 
Candidates need to be at a certain age to be eligible to apply for the OICL AO Recruitment 2025. To be eligible, candidates must have a minimum age of 21 years and a maximum age of 30 years.i.e., a candidate must have been born not earlier than 1st December 1995 and not later than 30th November 2004 (both dates inclusive). The relaxation in the upper age limit will also be provided to reverse category candidates, as mentioned below.

otherwise than by way of dismissal or discharge on account of misconduct or inefficiency, or 
(b) on account of physical disability attributable to Military Service, or (c) on invalidment. 
The ECOs/ SSCOs who have completed an initial period of assignment of five years of Military Service as on 31.12.2023 
and whose assignment has been extended beyond five years 
and in whose case the Ministry of Defence issues a certificate  that they can apply for civil employment and 
that they will be released on three months' notice on selection from the date of receipt of offer of appointment.
