NIACL Apprentice Recruitment 2026: Notification Out
The New India Assurance Company Limited (NIACL) has published the detailed NIACL Apprentice Notification PDF today, 23rd June 2026 and along with the category-wise vacancy details. This year, NIACL is hiring for 550 Apprenticeship posts under the Apprentice Act, 1961 and online application process has started from today onwards at https://www.newindia.co.in/.
If any fresher wish to work as an Apprentice at NIACL, then check out the eligibility criteria provided here, apply online, and appear for the written exam. Also, candidates should be fluent in local language of the state from which they are applying. Selected candidates will be put in an Apprenticeship period of 1 year.

NIACL Apprentice Eligibility Criteria 2026
The New India Assurance Company Limited will accept the application of only those candidates who fulfil the prescribed eligibility criteria. NIACL considers parameters like age limit and educational qualifications for evaluating the candidate’s eligibility for Apprentice posts.
Educational Qualification (as on 01/06/2026)
Below, we have discussed a few mandatory qualifications for every candidate applying for Apprentice posts at NIACL. To prove this, candidates are supposed to attach the documents for the same.

Candidates must hold a bachelor’s degree from a recognised university/institution or any equivalent degree.

It is mandatory to have knowledge of the regional language of the State/UT for which the candidates have applied.
Age Limit (as on 01/06/2026)
The candidates applying NIACL Apprentice should calculate their age as per the cut off date. The minimum and maximum age details mentioned in the short notice are:

Other Eligibility

The candidate should not have done Apprenticeship Training before, either in this company or anywhere else.

The candidate should be a fresher and should not have any prior training experience.
Language Proficiency
One important criterion for this recruitment is that candidates should possess a functional knowledge of the regional language of the State or Union Territory where they are applying. This is essential because the job requires communication with customers and local administrative personnel.

NIACL Apprentice Selection Process 2026
The NIACL Apprentice Recruitment 2026 Selection Process includes two phases, i.e. Online Written Test and Regional Language Test. Candidates must clear both phases of the selection stage to be finally selected for Apprentice posts.

Stage 1: Online Written Test – The online examination is conducted to assess the candidate’s General Aptitude and knowledge of Banking & Finance. Qualified candidates’ online exam will be shortlisted for the local language test.

Stage 2: Regional Language Test– Qualified candidates in the online exam will be called to appear for the Regional Language Test. During the test, candidates will assess their proficiency in the local languages of the state they have applied for. The original documents of the candidates will also be verified. The final merit list will be prepared after completing all these stages.
NIACL Apprentice Stipend
Candidates will receive a monthly stipend of Rs. 12,300 during the one-year apprenticeship training period. It is important to note that apprentices are not considered regular employees of NIACL and are not entitled to additional allowances, benefits, or employee perks available to permanent staff. It is purely a training opportunity designed to enhance professional skills and industry exposure.
NIACL Apprentice Exam Pattern 2026
The online examination will consist of 100 multiple-choice questions from 4 subjects, namely General/Financial Awareness, General English, Quantitative and Reasoning Aptitude, and Computer Knowledge. The time duration of the exam is 1 hour.
