The aspirants who are preparing for both IBPS and IBPS SO exams are a little bit confused between IBPS SO and IBPS PO. Dear Candidates, if you compare the IBPS PO and IBPS SO exams then you’ll come to know that the exam pattern Difficulty level and syllabus for both exams are totally different from each other. There is only one Similarity left between IBPS SO and IBPS PO i.e. Salary. Most candidates think that the IBPS SO has higher pay scale but there haven’t many differences. After you join the IBPS PO, you will be working as a Probationary officer but in IBPS SO you will be working as a specialist officer and getting a handsome salary along with other allowances. Here we are enlisting the total pay scale and their increments in IBPS SO and IBPS PO:

 IBPS SO Salary details 2018:

The Salary structure of IBPS SO for all the profiles is almost similar to IBPS PO. The complete details of the salary structure of IBPS SO are below:

Basic Pay

23700-980(7)-30560-1145(2)-32850-1310(7)-42020.

DA

Almost 36% of the basic pay (approximately Rs. 8605).

HRA

As per the place of posting, 9% or 8% or 7% HRA is paid by the bank.

SP

It refers to the incentives or the performance-based bonus given to employees based upon their performance.

In-Hand Salary

The gross salary is Rs. 38000-39000/- per month.
