National Education Society for Tribal Students (NESTS) has come up with a total of 7267 vacancies for various teaching and non-teaching posts in EMRSs (Eklavya Model Residential Schools). The EMRS Notification 2025 has been released on 19th September 2025 for Principal, Post Graduate Teachers, Trained Graduate Teachers, Hostel Warden (Male and Female), Female Staff Nurse, Accountant, Junior Secretariat Assistant (JSA), and Lab Attendant posts.

EMRS Recruitment 2025 Eligibility Criteria

The main objective of the Eklavya Model Residential School (EMRS) is to ensure tribal students get access to quality education in remote tribal areas. Those candidates who want to apply for the EMRS Teaching and Non-Teaching Recruitment 2025 should check the eligibility criteria in terms of education qualification and age limit.

The education qualification for EMRS Teacher Recruitment 2025 is a graduate, postgraduate, and B.Ed. degree.

(OR)

  • 4 years Integrated graduation degree with at least 50% marks, including B.Ed. component

Junior Secretariat Assistant (JSA)
  • Senior Secondary (Class XII) certificate from a recognized Board and possessing minimum speed of 35 words per minutes in English typing or 30 words per minute in Hindi typing

Lab Attendant
  • 10th Class Pass with a certificate/diploma in Laboratory technique from a recognized board/institute

EMRS Recruitment 2025 Selection Process

Candidates will be selected for the EMRS Recruitment 2025 on the basis of their performance in the written test. Those candidates who clear the written exam will be called to appear for an interview round. The final merit list will be based on the score in the written test and interview.

  • Tier I – Preliminary Examination: The first stage of the recruitment process will be conducted to shortlist candidates for the Tier 2 exam. The Tier 1 exam is qualifying in nature.
  • Tier II – Subject Knowledge Examination: Candidates who qualify in Tier I will appear for this stage, which will assess their subject-specific knowledge in detail. The Tier 2 exam will be held for a total of 100 marks.
  • Personal Interaction / Interview: The final stage will involve a personal interaction or interview round to evaluate the candidate’s overall suitability for the post. The interview process will include a total of 40 marks.
