3. India assumed Chair of Colombo Process for 2024-2026
- India has assumed the Chair of the
Colombo Process for 2024-2026, marking the 1st time it has taken on this role since the Process's inception in 2003. It is a Regional Consultative Process involving migrant worker origin countries from South and S-E Asia.
- This forum, consisting of 12 Member States, serves as a platform for sharing best practices on overseas employment and contractual labor.
4.IndusInd bank has collaborated with Poonawalla fin Corp Limited to lauch co branded Elite credit card
- Poonawalla Fincorp Limited, in
partnership with IndusInd Bank, has introduced the co-branded ‘IndusInd Bank Poonawalla Fincorp eLITE RuPay Platinum Credit Card’.
- This new card, designed to enhance customer experience with rewards and benefits, is available without any joining or annual fees. Users can earn rewards for every 100 spent, including UPI transactions, and benefit from 2.5 times reward points on e-commerce transactions. 5. Asian Development Bank’s $2.6 Billion Sovereign Lending to India in 2023

6. Procter & Gamble India Names Mrinalini Srinivasan as Chief Financial Officer
- Procter & Gamble Hygiene and Health
Care, one of P&G India’s listed entities that includes brands like Vicks and Whisper, announced the appointment of Mrinalini Srinivasan as the company’s chief financial officer (CFO) effective June 29, 2024.
- Srinivasan will succeed Prashant Bhatnagar, who is stepping down after nearly 28 years of service with the company. She joined P&G in 2008 in India and has held positions across different geographies, including Singapore, India, and Dubai.
7. P Santhosh Takes the Helm as MD & CEO of NARCL
