1. Ministry of Ayush to host 11th Ayurveda Day in Nagpur

The 11th Ayurveda Day will be hosted by the Ministry of Ayush in Nagpur, Maharashtra.

The theme of 11th Ayurveda Day is “Ayurveda for a Healthier Tomorrow.”

Union Minister of State for Health & Family Welfare and Chemicals & Fertilizers, Anupriya Patel, launched the 7th Edition of the National Formulary of India (NFI) 2026.

The launch was organised by the Indian Pharmacopoeia Commission (IPC) at the Dr. Ambedkar International Centre, New Delhi.

4. India committed to eliminating Hepatitis B, C as public health threats by 2030

India has reaffirmed its commitment to eliminate viral hepatitis as a public health threat by 2030, in line with Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) Target 3.3.

The National Viral Hepatitis Control Programme (NVHCP) was launched in 2018 under the National Health Mission (NHM) of the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare.

Exercise Veer Guardian 2026 is a bilateral air exercise between the Indian Air Force (IAF) and the Japan Air Self-Defense Force (JASDF).
