1. Delhi Govt Renames Mahila Samriddhi Yojana as Delhi Lakshmi Yojana

The Delhi Government has renamed the Mahila Samriddhi Yojana as the Delhi Lakshmi Yojana. The scheme aims to provide financial assistance and welfare support to eligible women.

2. India Set to Launch its First Hydrogen Train under "Hydrogen for Heritage" Project

On 14th of July, 2026, India is set to observe 3rd NAMASTE Day, with this it marks three years since the launch of the National Action for Mechanized Sanitation Ecosystem (NAMASTE) Scheme. The Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment will lead the nationwide celebrations with the main event taking place at the Rabindra Sadan in Kolkata, West Bengal.
