1. Kavinder Gupta appointed as the new Lieutenant Governor of Ladakh

2. India Launches World’s First Traditional Knowledge Digital Library

  • Multilingual and AI-Powered: The TKDL overcomes language barriers by translating this knowledge into five international languages (English, German, French, Japanese, and Spanish) and leverages AI tools to organize, understand, and make these ancient texts and practices more accessible.
3. Sano Vamuzo conferred BWA Quinquennial Human Rights Award

6. Centre appoints Dr Abhijat Sheth as New NMC Chief

  • Predicting Protein Dynamics: Unlike previous methods that often provide a single, static protein structure, BioEmu-1 is a deep learning model that can generate thousands of diverse protein structures per hour.
  • High Computational Efficiency: The system is remarkably efficient, capable of generating these thousands of protein structures on a single GPU. This makes it orders of magnitude faster and more cost-effective than traditional molecular dynamics (MD) simulations.
  • Revealing Hidden Targets: A key capability of BioEmu-1 is its ability to predict hard-to-detect changes in protein structure, including the formation of "cryptic" binding pockets.
