1. Rani Mukerji Gets Maharashtra’s Raj Kapoor Award

Rani Mukerji was honoured with the Raj Kapoor Special Contribution Award at the 62nd Maharashtra State Film Awards.

2. Government Launches DILRMP 3.0

The Department of Land Resources (DoLR) under the Ministry of Rural Development launched the operational guidelines for Digital India Land Records Modernization Programme (DILRMP) 3.0.

DILRMP 3.0 will be implemented during 2026–2031 with a total financial outlay of ₹565.50 crore.

The programme will operate as a Central Sector Scheme.
3. 18th BRICS Summit to Begin in New Delhi

5. UK Recognises India’s Carbon Credit Scheme

The UK has recognised India’s Carbon Credit Trading Scheme (CCTS) as a qualifying carbon pricing scheme under its Carbon Border Adjustment Mechanism (CBAM).

The Carbon Credit Trading Scheme (CCTS) was established under the Energy Conservation Act, 2001, as amended in 2022.

The Ministry of Power is the nodal ministry for India’s Carbon Credit Trading Scheme.
6. NPCI Launches Two New Agentic AI Platforms

NPCI (National Payments Corporation of India) launched two new agentic AI platforms at the Global Fintech Fest (GFF) 2026 in Mumbai.

The two platforms launched by NPCI are AiNxt and Agentic Orchestration & Messaging (AtOM).

AiNxt enables AI-powered enterprise workflows and automation, while AtOM is an agentic AI orchestration and messaging platform that facilitates communication and coordination between AI agents.
7. INS Mysore Joins Samudra Laksamana 4/26 in Malaysia

INS Mysore arrived at Lumut, Malaysia, to participate in the 4th edition of Exercise Samudra Laksamana 4/26.

Exercise Samudra Laksamana is a bilateral maritime exercise between the Indian Navy and Royal Malaysian Navy (RMN).

INS Mysore is a Delhi-class guided-missile destroyer of the Indian Navy.
