1. Khaled al-Anani appointed as UNESCO's Next Director-General

Previous Roles: El-Enany has served as Minister of Antiquities and Minister of Tourism and Antiquities of the Arab Republic of Egypt from 2016 to 2022. He's also directed the National Museum of Egyptian Civilization and the Egyptian Museum in Cairo.
