1. Murali Sreeshankar wins men’s long jump at Indian Athletics Series 2026

3. Dr. Jitendra Singh inaugurates BioNEST at CFTRI

4. Union Minister Commissioned Advanced Stealth Frigate ‘INS Taragiri’
  • Pinnacle of Project 17A (Nilgiri-class): INS Taragiri is the fourth stealth frigate delivered under Project 17A. Designed by the Warship Design Bureau and built by Mazagon Dock Shipbuilders Limited (MDL), this 6,670-tonne vessel features advanced stealth architecture, including a reduced radar cross-section and radar-absorbent materials, making it a "lethal ghost" in contested maritime environments.
  • High Indigenous Content & Economic Impact: The warship boasts over 75% indigenous content, utilizing Indian-made DMR 249A steel from SAIL. Its construction integrated a network of over 200 Indian MSMEs, directly supporting the Aatmanirbhar Bharat initiative. Notably, it was delivered in a significantly compressed timeline of 81 months, demonstrating India's maturing industrial capability in complex warship production.
