1. Anil Chakravarthy Named Adobe CEO
  • Anil Chakravarthy, an Indian-origin technology executive, has been named the next President and CEO of Adobe.
  • He will succeed Shantanu Narayen, who has served as Adobe’s CEO since 2007 and will become Executive Chair.
  • Adobe Inc. is an American multinational software company headquartered in San Jose, California, USA.
2. Hyderabad Startup’s Ahuti Mk II Becomes India’s Fastest Multirotor UAV
  • Ahuti Mk II is an advanced multirotor Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV) developed by Hyderabad-based Apollyon Dynamics.
  • The UAV achieved a top speed of 498 km/h, making it India’s fastest multirotor UAV.
  • The achievement was officially recognized by the India Book of Records.
3. Kerala to Set Up Coconut Park to Boost Value Addition and Exports
  • Kerala Chief Minister V. D. Satheesan announced the establishment of a Coconut Park.
  • The park will be developed with support from the Coconut Development Board (CDB).
  • The proposed Coconut Park will be established at Malappuram district, Kerala.
4. Tamil Nadu Olympic City to Be Established in Chennai
  • Tamil Nadu Chief Minister C. Joseph Vijay announced the establishment of a world-class Tamil Nadu Olympic City in Chennai.
  • It will include international-standard sports arenas, advanced equipment and a HighPerformance Training Centre.
  • The Olympic City will be developed through the Sports Development Authority of Tamil Nadu (SDAT).
5. Lahore Named SCO Tourism and Cultural Capital for 2026–27
  • The designation was made during the 26th SCO Council of Heads of State meeting in Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan.
  • Pakistan assumed the SCO chairmanship for 2026–27.
  • Previous SCO Tourism and Cultural Capitals were Varanasi, India (2022–23), Almaty, Kazakhstan (2023–24), Qingdao, China (2024–25), and Cholpon-Ata, Kyrgyzstan (2025–26).

  • She is the first woman to become Prime Minister of Italy.

7. ISRO GSLV-F17 Launches EOS-05 in Major Space Mission
  • ISRO successfully launched GSLV-F17 carrying EOS-05 from the Second Launch Pad of Satish Dhawan Space Centre (SDSC-SHAR), Sriharikota, Andhra Pradesh.
  • EOS-05 is an advanced Earth Observation Satellite and is India’s first dedicated imaging satellite designed to operate from geosynchronous orbit.
  • GSLV is a three-stage launch vehicle consisting of solid, liquid and cryogenic propulsion stages.
8. Smriti Mandhana Becomes Leading Run-Scorer in Women’s International Cricket
  • Smriti Mandhana became the highest run-scorer in women’s international cricket across all formats, surpassing Mithali Raj’s 10,868 runs.
  • She achieved the milestone during India’s Women’s T20 Asia Cup 2026 match against Hong Kong, China in Dubai.
  • Smriti Mandhana, who belongs to Mumbai, Maharashtra, scored 124 runs off 64 balls, including 14 fours and 7 sixes.
