1. Yash Raj Films names Akshaye Widhani as CEO
- Akshaye Widhani has been appointed as the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of
Yash Raj Films, which is a film production and distribution company.
- Prior to this, he was serving as senior vice-president, finance and business Affairs and head of operations at YRF Studios.
- He joined Yash Raj Films as a studio manager in 2005.

2 . World Wildlife Day 2022 is observed every year on 3rd March
- World Wildlife Day is observed every year on 3rd March to raise awareness
about the world’s wild fauna and flora.
- Theme 2022: Recovering key species for ecosystem restoration.
- The day was proposed by Thailand and recognized by United Nations General Assembly (UNGA) in 2013.
- March 3 has been chosen as it is the day of signature of Convention on International Trade in Endangered Species of Wild Fauna and Flora (CITES) in 1973.
3. India & US hold 19th Military Cooperation meeting in Agra
- The 19th edition of the India-US Military Cooperation Group (MCG) meeting has
been held in Agra, Uttar Pradesh.
- Meet was co-chaired by Chief of Integrated Defence Staff to the Chairman Chiefs of Staff Committee (CISC) Air Marshal BR Krishna from Indian side and his US counterpart Stephen D Sklenka.
- Focus: strengthening the ongoing defense engagements between the two sides and mulled on new initiatives under the ambit of the existing cooperation mechanism.

4. MyGov launches “Sabka Vikas MahaQuiz” series of 14 episodes
- MyGov has launched ‘Sabka Vikas MahaQuiz’ series, which is a year-long
project and consists of 14 episodes, all hosted at Quiz.MyGov.in
- Aim: to sensitize the participants about the various government schemes and initiatives.
- This includes yojanas like PM Awas Yojana, Jal Jeevan Mission, PM Jan Dhan, direct benefit transfer (PM KISAN) or free gas connections (Ujjwala), etc.
- Every week, top 1000 winners will be announced and every winner will receive Rs 2000/- each
5. DPIIT to organize Post Budget Webinar on “Make in India for the World”
- Department for Promotion of Industry and Internal Trade (DPIIT), Ministry of
Commerce and Industry is organizing Post Budget Webinar on ‘Make in India for the World’
- Union Budget 2022 has laid down roadmap for India@100 with manufacturing as one of the key drivers of growth and employment generation.
- This webinar will include discussions on paradigm shift in manufacturing in India, realizing trillion-dollar goal in Exports and MSMEs as a growth engine for the economy.

6. Google and MeitY to train 100 Indian startups under Appscale Academy
- MeitY Startup Hub, an initiative of Ministry of Electronics and Information
Technology (MeitY), and Google have announced a cohort of 100 early to mid-stage Indian startups under Appscale Academy programme.
- They were chosen from over 400 applications following an in-depth selection process
- Under this 6-month programme, 100 startups will be trained through a customized curriculum that includes virtual instructor-led webinars, self-learning material, mentorship sessions.

7. 148 IAF aircraft, including Rafale, to participate in exercise Vayu Shakti
- Indian Air Force (IAF) will conduct ‘Exercise Vayu Shakti’ at the Pokharan range
in Jaisalmer on 7th March 2022.
- PM Narendra Modi will be the Chief Guest of this event.
- 148 aircraft of the Indian Air Force (IAF) will participate in Vayu Shakti exercise.
- It will be participated by Rafale aircraft for the first time in this exercise.
Exercise Vayu Shakti:
- Organized by Indian Air Force once every three years.
- Last Vayu Shakti took place in 2019.

- Number of ultra-high-net-worth-individuals (UHNWIs) in India increased by 11% in 2021 to 145 billionaires, highest percentage growth in Asia Pacific region
- UHNWIs: Individuals with net assets of US$ 30m (Rs 226 crore) or more
- India’s UHNWI is expected to grow by 39% from 2021 to 2026

- It emphasizes on psychosocial well-being and will improve mental health of women in India.
