AFCAT 2 notification has been released at the official website of the Indian Air Force. Candidates can apply for the same from the link mentioned below. Candidates can apply for the Class – I Gazetted Officers in Ground Duty (Technical and Non-Technical) and Flying Branch from the link given below in the article.The online application link will be activated from 1st June 2022 to 30th June 2022.

AFCAT 2 2022 Eligibility Criteria
In order to apply for the AFCAT exam, candidates must be aware of the eligibility criteria:

  • Both male & female can apply for this exam.
  • The candidate must be a citizen of India.

1. Age Criteria:

  • Flying Branch: 20 to 24 years as on 01 July 2023 i.e. born between 02 July 1999 to 01 July 2003(both dates inclusive). Upper age limit for candidates holding valid and current Commercial Pilot License issued by DGCA (India) is relaxable upto 26 years i.e. born between 02 July 1997 to 01 July 2003 (both dates inclusive).
  • Ground Duty (Technical/ Non-Technical) Branches. 20 to 26 years as on 01 July 2023 i.e. born between 02 July 1997 to 01 July 2003 (both dates inclusive).

2. Educational Qualification:

  • For Flying: The candidate must be a graduate with any degree with at least 60% marks in graduation. He must have scored 50% passed Physics & Maths in class 12th.
  • For Technical Branch: Candidates must be either appearing or qualified for a 4-year degree and having completed Sections A and B Examination of Associate Membership of the Indian Institute of Engineers or Aeronautical Society with a minimum of 60%.
  • For Ground Duty (Non-Technical): Candidates must be B. Com. Graduate with a minimum of 60% marks. For education officer posts, the candidates should have MBA / MCA or M.A. / M.Sc. Degree in English / Physics / International Studies / Mathematics / Chemistry / Statistics / International Relations / Defence Studies / Psychology / Computer Science / IT / Management / Journalism / Public Relation / Mass Communication with minimum of 50% marks and have scored minimum 60% marks in graduation.
