AFCAT 2 Notification 2020: Check Exam Date, Eligibility, Vacancies, Exam Pattern
AFCAT 2 notification has been released at the official website of the Indian Air Force. The AFCAT 2 2020 exam will be conducted on 19th and 20th Sep-2020 respectively. The online application link will be activated from 15th June 2020 to 14 July 2020.

AFCAT 2 2020 Eligibility Criteria
In order to apply for the AFCAT exam, candidates must be aware of the eligibility criteria:
- Both male & female can apply for this exam.
- The candidate must be a citizen of India.
1. Age Criteria:
- Flying Branch: The age limit is 20 to 24 years as of 01 January 2020, i.e. between 02 July 1996 and 01 July 2001 (including both dates). The upper age limit for applicants holding a valid and current DGCA (India) Commercial Pilot License, can apply up to 26 years, i.e. born between 02 July 1994 and 01 July 2000 (both dates included).
- Ground Duty: The age limit is 20 to 26 years as on 01 January 2020 i.e. born from 02 July 1994 to 01 Jun 2001 (both dates included).
2. Educational Qualification:
- For Flying: The candidate must be a graduate with any degree with at least 60% marks in graduation. He must have scored 50% passed Physics & Maths in class 12th.
- For Technical Branch: Candidates must be either appearing or qualified for a 4-year degree and having completed Sections A and B Examination of Associate Membership of the Indian Institute of Engineers or Aeronautical Society with a minimum of 60%.
- For Ground Duty (Non-Technical): Candidates must be B. Com. Graduate with a minimum of 60% marks. For education officer posts, the candidates should have MBA/MCA or M.A./M.Sc. Degree in English/Physics/International Studies/Mathematics/Chemistry/Statistics/International Relations/Defence Studies/Psychology/Computer Science/IT/Management/Journalism/Public Relation/Mass Communication with minimum of 50% marks and have scored minimum 60% marks in graduation.

AFCAT 2 2020 Syllabus & Exam Pattern
For all applicants applying for technical / non-technical posts, the Air Force Common Admission Test is mandatory. There will be 100 questions, each having 3 marks. So the total marks are 300. For each correct answer, the candidate will be awarded 3 marks while for the wrong response, 1 mark will be deducted.
