Institute of Banking Personnel Selection will release the notification of IBPS SO 2021 on its official website i.e.www.ibps.in.IBPS SO 2021 is going to be conducted by the Institute of Banking Personnel Selection to select eligible candidates for various posts like that of Agriculture Field Officer, Marketing Officer (Scale I), HR/Personnel Officer, IT Officer Scale I, Law Officer and Rajbhasha Adhikari Scale I.

Application for the Specialist Officer (SO) will be subject to various eligibility criteria as mentioned in the official IBPS SO Notification. Applicants need to fulfill the required eligibility to apply for IBPS SO 2021.

IBPS SO 2021 Exam Pattern:

It consists of a paper of objective type (multiple choice questions) and carries a maximum of 125 marks. This is a screening test only to qualify for the next step and its marks will not be counted for determining their final order of merit.

Interview Detail :       

Candidates who have been shortlisted in the Main examination for CRP SPL-VII under the latest IBPS SO exam pattern will subsequently be called for an Interview. The total marks allotted for the Interview are 100. The minimum qualifying marks in the interview will not be less than 40% (35% for SC/ ST/ OBC/ PWD candidates). Candidate should qualify both in the Online CWE (Main Examination) and interview and be sufficiently high in the merit to be shortlisted for subsequent provisional allotment process.

IBPS SO 2021 Pre - Exam Training:

The Pre Exam Training is conducted for the candidates who belong to SC/ST and Minority Communities. The main aim of the Pre Exam Training is to provide training facilities to improve the abilities and to enhance the capabilities of under privileged candidates. The training is free of cost, but all the other expenses like traveling, accommodation, food, etc. must be paid by the candidates themselves. Pre Exam Training for IBPS Bank Exam is specially conducted for candidates who could not afford to take admission in private coaching institutes. During the training, candidates will get to know the exam pattern, expected questions, tips & techniques to solve the problems, how to manage time during the IBPS exam and how to prepare for the Exam. IBPS SO 2021 Salary:

Below we are discussing the Salary Details of Officer Scale 1 and Officer Scale 2.

 
Junior Management Grade Scale 1 Officer
Pay Scale - INR 14500+(600x7) - 18700+(700x2) - 20100+(800x7) – 25700/-In Hand Salary – INR 24000-32000 per month.
 
Middle Management Grade Scale 2 Officer
Pay Scale - INR 19400+(700x1) - 20100+(800x10) – 28100/-In Hand Salary – INR 34,000-40,000 per month.
Note:
#After completion of the 1st year, an increment of INR 700 will be due on the basic pay.
#After 1st Increment, the increment of INR 800 will be applied to the basic pay for the next 10 years.
 
IBPS IT Officer Salary Structure –
Pay Scale – INR 23700-(980x7)-30560-(1145x2)-32850-(1310x7)-42020.
It means that the –
Basic Salary of IT Officer in starting is – INR 23,700 but after 7 years it will be raised to INR 30,560 with the increment of INR 980 rupees.
 And later, after 2 years this incremented salary will be raised to INR 32,850 after applying the increment of INR 1145 rupees and so the procedure goes on.
Job Perks and Other Allowances are as follows!

Dearness Allowance (DA)    39.80% of the Basic Pay (Revised Quarterly)
Special Allowance (SA)   7.75% of the Basic Pay
Human Resource Allowances (HRA) 9.0% or 8.0% or 7.0% (Depends on the place of posting)
City Compensatory Allowance (CCA)   4% or 3%

The Salary is credited in the account by the 25th of every month and the HRA is credited by the month-end.

A candidate is required to pay Rs. 850/- (General and OBC) as his/her application fee for IBPS SO 2020-2021 exam. The same amount is narrowed down to Rs. 175/- for candidates belonging to SC/ST/PWD category.

Q. What is the exam pattern of IBPS SO Prelims Examination?

Ans: The Prelims exam is conducted online in objective mode. It comprises of 150 questions carrying 125 marks in total. It has three sections namely, Reasoning, Quantitative Aptitude and English Language where sectional limit is set as 40 minutes for each section which makes a total time as 120 minutes.

Q. Is there any negative marking in IBPS SO Exam 2021?

Ans: Yes, there is negative marking in IBPS SO Exam n Prelims as well as in Mains examination. There is a deduction of 1/4th Mark for every wrong answer marked by the candidate. Nevertheless, there is no penalty if any question is left blank or not answered by the candidate.

Ans: The Common Written Exam for IBPS SO exam will be conducted online.

Q. What is the age limit to apply for IBPS SO recruitment?

Ans: The minimum age to apply for the posts under IBPS SO Recruitment of candidate should be 20 years and maximum age must be 30 years.

Q. Can a final year student appear in IBPS SO exam?

Ans: Final year candidates are also qualified to apply, yet, they can only apply conditionally. IBPS‘s official notification indicates a date before which the student in final year have to turn out his/her passing mark sheet or proof of passing the graduation exam.
