SBI CLERK EXAM: 2018 RECRUITMENT NOTIFICATION

SBI CLERK NOTIFICATION OUT - 8301 VACANCIES

Dear Aspirants,

State Bank of India has released the Recruitment notification for eligible Indian Citizens for appointment as Junior Associate (Customer Support & Sales) in clerical cadre. Candidates can apply for vacancies in one State only. Candidates can appear for the test only once under this recruitment project.  Application will begin from 20/1/2018 onwards and will close on 10/02/2018. All the eligible candidates can apply for the same. Given are the Notification Details.

Total number of vacancies: 7200+1101 (backlog) =8301

SBI Clerk Exam is held by SBI or State Bank of India to recruit candidates for Clerical Cadre in its different branches across the country. SBI Clerk is one of the most sought after bank exams today and a huge number of candidates appear for the same every year.

Eligibility Criteria For SBI CLERK 2018: 

(A) Age Limit: (As on 01.01.2018)

Not below 20 years and not above 28 years as on 01.01.2018 i.e candidates must have been born not earlier than 02.01.1990 and not later than 01.01.1998.

(B)Essential Academic Qualifications: (AS ON 01.01.2018)

Graduation in any discipline from a recognised University or any equivalent qualification recognised as such by the Central Government. Candidates having integrated dual degree (IDD) certificate should ensure that the date of passing the IDD is on or before 01.01.2018

1. About SBI:

State Bank of India (SBI) is an Indian multinational, public sector banking and financial services company. It is a government-owned corporation. India's largest Bank merged with five of its Associate Banks (State Bank of Bikaner & Jaipur, State Bank of Hyderabad, State Bank of Mysore, State Bank of Patiala and State Bank of Travancore) and Bharatiya Mahila Bank with itself.

Selection Process for SBI CLERK 2018: 

The selection process will consist of on-line test (preliminary & main examination) and test of specified opted local language.

2. SBI CLERK Prelims Exam Pattern (Phase I):

Phase-I : Preliminary Examination: Preliminary Examination (online) consisting of Objective Tests for 100 marks will be conducted online. This test would be of 1 hour duration consisting of 3 Sections as follows. Each test will have a separate timing as mentioned below.

3. SBI CLERK LPT :

Language Proficiency Test (LPT) - The candidates provisionally selected from the on-line examination will have to undergo a language proficiency test (LPT). The language proficiency test will be conducted in the Official / Local Language of the State concerned. Candidate not proficient in the Official/Local Language would be disqualified.
