IBPS PO 2019: Eligibility Criteria

Application for the Probationary Officer (PO) will be subject to various eligibility criteria as mentioned in the official IBPS PO Notification. Applicants need to fulfill the required eligibility to apply for IBPS PO 2019.

Educational Qualification:

The Eligibility criteria for the IBPS PO exam is Graduation Degree in any of the streams such as B.Com, B.A B.Sc, B.Tech, etc, from a University recognized by the Government of India. The percentage of marks obtained in Graduation should be mentioned at time of registration for the IBPS PO examination. Final Year Appering student is not allow for IBPS PO Exam.

IBPS PO 2019: Exam Pattern

IBPS PO conducted in three phases, Phase I is the prelim exam that consists of a paper of objective type (multiple choice questions) and carries 100 questions. This is a screening test only to qualify for the next step and its marks will not be counted for determining their final order of merit. There will be no Sectional Cut off marks for prelims exam.

Phase-3: IBPS PO Interview

Shortlisted Candidates in the main examination for IBPS-PO subsequently called for an Interview to be conducted by the Participating Organisations and coordinated by the Nodal Bank in each State/ UT with the help of IBPS. Interviews to be conducted at select centers. The total marks allotted for Interview are 100. The minimum qualifying marks in interview must not be less than 40% (35% for SC/ST/OBC/PWD candidates). However, like most interviews for various examinations, the IBPS-PO interview does not have defined syllabus but candidates need to be articulate about his/her knowledge in General Awareness with special emphasis on Banking, Finance, and Economics along with his/her own qualification and work experience (if any) related questions.

IBPS PO 2019 Syllabus for Preliminary exam 

The syllabus for this Prelims Exam includes three subjects- English Language, Quantitative Aptitude and Reasoning. The prelims have sectional cutoff which implies that candidates must obtain the minimum qualifying marks in each section to clear the exam. Bank may  arrange  pre-examination  training  at  certain  centres  for  SC/ST/Religious Minority Community candidates in consonance with the guidelines issued by Government of India. 2. English Language

3. What is the eligibility criterion for IBPS PO 2019?
(A) Age Limit: 20 years to 30 years.
(B)Essential Academic Qualifications: The eligibility criteria for the IBPS CWE PO exam is Graduation Degree in any of the streams such as BA, B. Com, BSc, B.Tech, etc., from a University recognized by the Government of India. The percentage of marks obtained in Graduation should be mentioned at the time of registration for the IBPS Bank-PO examination.
Computer Literacy: Knowledge of computer operation is a must as IBPS PO exam is conducted online.

4. I am 1 Month less than 20 years old, am I eligible to apply for IBPS PO  2019?
Sorry, you are not eligible to apply for this exam because the minimum age required is 20 years and the maximum age is 30 years.

If you belong to any reserved category only then you are eligible to apply for the exam by looking at the age relaxation criteria otherwise sorry you are not eligible.
